Ormaig Croft Isle of Mull

Welcome to Ormaig Croft Bed & Breakfast and Self-Catering Accommodation, Lochdon, Isle of Mull.

Ormaig Croft is situated in a quiet waterfront location in the small tranquil village of Lochdon, just off the A849 between Craignure and Fionnphort which makes it very well situated  as a base for exploring the whole Island.

 Fionnphort and Iona in the South are 50 minutes drive away with Tobermory and Dervaig in the North  approximately 40 minutes away.

Mull is famous for its dramatic coastline and scenery and of course its amazing wildlife, Sea Eagles are regularly seen, two pairs have been nesting in the local area for some time now.

Otters can sometimes be seen in the Loch and Red deer do make a regular appearance, over 100 species of birds have been recorded on and around the Croft.

Lochdon is tidal so the spectacular view is constantly changing, it's beautiful on a big spring tide when the water comes to within a few metres of the house, but equally as beautiful when the tide recedes to expose vast mud flats which  then  play host to a multitude of wading birds and waterfowl.
