Ormaig croft Self-Catering    ( The Bothy)

Welcome to Ormaig Croft Self-catering holiday cottage, ( the Bothy ). This was the original croft house and was still occupied until the early eighties. 

 I returned to Mull and purchased the croft in 2014 when it was in a totally dilapidated state. After I  finally finished completely renovating the main house, I started work on the croft in 2020 and the Bothy now provides luxury, stylish, spacious accommodation for two.

The Bothy consists of a large modern extension with an open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area with patio doors leading out to a raised decking area overlooking a small burn(stream).

Featuring an open plan Lounge which is furnished with two comfortable two-seater leather sofas, 48 -inch Smart TV and a flame effect electric fire. In the modern  well appointed kitchen area you'll find everything you need, from basic utensils, cutlery and crockery to an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, large fridge/freezer.

Equipped with a large walk-in enclosure  with a mixer shower, the shower room also has a heated towel rail, LED lit mirror with intigrated shaver point and a variety of Scottish Fine Soaps toiletries  along with thick fluffy towels.

A handmade King size bed topped with a luxurious quality memory foam mattress graces the large spacious bedroom. All the tables, window sills, headboard and majority of the other wooden fittings are handmade from  Oak. There are two very comfy easy chairs, a dressing table with mirror, hair dryer and 48 inch Smart TV. A flame effect electric fire is also provided for your comfort.

Outside there is ample parking space and a seating on a spacious decking overlooking the Loch.  Please note that there are no electric car charging facilities at the cottage, but there are in Craignure and several other locations around the Island.
